By placing the ring (pewter) on the base and directing its small hole
towards the sun, this projects a luminous dot inside,
which indicates the solar time.
The base bears the inscription:
"Carpe diem" (seize the moment) from a poem by Orazio. 15 euros

finds in Europe and in Italy. 18 Euros
Great memory from Rome! Too bad rings don’t have half sizes.

I have been in Rome now 5 times with my father who is a History teacher.. Each time i go i visit this shop and buy a product, i have a big emotional conection with this shop and that city thanks to it. Also all the times that my father and i came there we talked with the owner because he is a very nice man. I dont know if he is going to read this but im the son of the spanish teacher that goes all the years there.
